Aussie music lovers get around Aussie bands. We love to discover the next big Aussie act that we’ll be cheering about for years to come. Laneway’s curation is perfect for these discoveries, and for many that band is currently Spacey Jane.
After their sold-out national tour and packed Bigsound appearance, Spacey Jane became the “if you know, you know” band of late 2019. Well, now we all know, and we’re loving it. The blistering heat at their outdoor stage didn’t stop the band from ripping through their humble collection of catchy indie rock.
With a sound that takes you back to the likes of early Jungle Giants, Ball Park Music and The Kooks, Spacey Jane was among our favourite acts of the day and will undoubtedly be one of our favourite acts at the end of the year.
