Omar Apollo kicked off our afternoon at Laneway with a set as bright as the evening sun. Between psychedelic sounds and his soulful croon, Apollo pranced around the stage with the demeanour of a ready-made star. As if with many Laneway acts we’ve seen over the years, we expect to see Omar Apollo at a higher point of the lineup upon his next Australian festival appearance. Omar Apollo is one to keep an eye on.
