It’s been quite the year for live music fans in Brisbane, and December is shaping up to be a great send-off month. Here’s where you’ll find us this December:
Methyl Ethel // The Triffid (2nd December)
It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen Methyl Ethel. Arguably one of the best Aussie bands playing right now, catch the avant-garde pop band at The Trifid this December
Alvvays (& Hatchie) // The Princess Theatre (8th December)
Indie-pop fans have been feasting in Brisbane. With TOPS gracing our venues in November, fans will be quick to catch Alvvays this month. The Canadian indie darlings will no doubt be touring their acclaimed 2022 album “Blue Rev”, and are accompanied by local dream-pop queen Hatchie. Catch them at The Princess Theatre.
War on Drugs // Riverstage (9th December)
A summer’s night at the Riverstage accompanied by the War on Drugs sounds right up our alley. The Philadelphia-based band are renowned for their dreamy soundscape, and support act Spoon is just the cherry on top.
Alex G // The Triffid (10th December)
Alex G’s back catalogue speaks for itself. The indie-pop icon has amassed a cult following through his signature blend of bedroom pop. Although this one’s sold out, those lucky enough to have secured tickets will catch Alex G at The Trifid.
Royal Blood // Fortitude Music Hall (11th December)
Rock fans in Brisbane have been blessed this year, and Royal Blood is the next band on the list. Renowned for their live show, catch the iconic rock duo at The Fortitude Music Hall.
