Toro Y Moi // The Princess Theatre (15th November)

We are way to keen for this one. It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen Toro Y Moi down under, and in the time since he’s been here he’s dropped a diverse set of albums that only he can pull off. While he’s here to support Flume’s major headline tour, we are stoked that he’s coming to Brissy a day earlier to treat us to a dedicated show.

Flume // Riverstage (16th November)

What more can we say about Flume that hasn’t been said? His 2022 Palaces album is yet another release that speaks to his unpredictable knack for crafting electronic bangers. His live show continues to escalate, with the Palaces tour looking nothing short of euphoric. Catch Flume and stellar supports Toro Y Moi and Channel Tres here.

Hot Chip // The Princess Theatre (16th November)

UK indie kings Hot Chip are bring their dance tunes to Aus to celebrate the release of their 2022 release “Freakout/Release”. These guys can do no wrong and are set to electrify the Princess Theatre this November.

Steve Lacy // Riverstage (23rd November)

We’ve got a bit of a last-minute addition to November’s gig line-up here, and it’s none other than Steve Lacy. The 2022 music king has been shipped into the Spilt Milk lineup last-minute, and is swinging through Brisbane as a bonus. While we’re all keen to sing Bad Habit live, Lacy’s entire back catalogue will supply endless grooves at the Riverstage.

Peter Hook & The Light // The Tivoli (25th November)

It’s not everyday you get to see such a significantly historical music figure, let alone in Brissy. Founding member of Joy Division and New Order, Peter Hook is set to bring his band The Light to Brisbane to play both Joy Division albums, Unknown Pleasures and Closer, along with an opening set of New Order material. Bringing the spirit of Joy Division back, this is the only chance to hear such seminal post-punk albums live. Catch him at The Tivoli here.

Rufus Du Sol // Brisbane Showgrounds (26th November)

RUFUS are on a victory lap overseas at the moment, and are wrapping their mammoth year of touring back home. Their music is simply made for a live setting, with their sweeping cinematic music set to make the perfect scene. And with legendary producer Jon Hopkins as their support, electronic fans are in for a treat at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

Big Thief // Princess Theatre (30th November)

Darlings of the indie scene, Big Thief, are no strangers to Australia. Yet this time they’re bringing yet another critically acclaimed album with them, the epic 20-song Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You. They will be nothing short of a spectacle to see live, with the grand Princess Theatre a perfect setting for their transcendental music.

Khraungbin // Princess Theatre & Fortitude Music Hall (30th November & 1st December)

Rounding out our busy month of gigs is none other than Khraungbin. Playing two shows across the Brisbane, the Texan three-piece are set to bring their dazzling fusion of funk and rock at the Fortitude Music Hall and The Princess Theatre
