TV Girl & The Last Dinner Party Join Forces in Aus This July / by Jack Gobbe

If you’re into alternative rock in 2024, you surely have TV Girl and The Last Dinner Party in rotation. We’re stoked to see both bands book a trip to Australia this July, playing headline shows in both Sydney and Melbourne, while also joining forces for a special co-headline show in Brisbane!

Fans of TV Girl will be treated to the band’s signature flavour of ‘60s French pop and southern California soul. Although those with a keen ear will undoubtedly pick up on TV Girl’s darker undertones, with the band’s subtle wit and cynicism a staple of their catalogue since their self-titled debut EP in 2010. Fast forward to 2024, and the band is touring their most mature album yet, Grapes Upon the Vine. Complete with gospel samples and themes of commitment, God, and the afterlife, TV Girl is set to bring their best show yet to Australia this year.

If you think that’s all, enter The Last Dinner Party. From serenading the dimly-lit corners of East London pubs to one of the most talked-about new acts in years, The Last Dinner Party has burst forth gloriously into the guitar music renaissance. Their debut album, Prelude to Ectsasy, has made waves in both indie and online music circles, with their unique bland of glam rock and synth-wave capturing the ears of many avid music fans.

Supported by Tia Gostelow in Sydney and Melbourne, and joining TV Girl for an epic co-headline show in Brisbane, we’re stoked to see The Last Dinner Party book a visit to Aus. Presale for all shows starts at 9am local time Thursday 18 April with tickets available to the general public from 9am local time Friday 19 April.
